One notable incident involved her intercession for Bishop Adalhelm, who later credited her with saving his life and ensuring the prosperity of his see. Opportuna's legacy flourished as her community grew in faith and influence, embodying the virtues of humility, kindness, and resilience that she exemplified throughout her life. Upon her death on April 22, 770, her followers celebrated her as a saint, ensuring her story would inspire generations to come.
